Adolphe had always looked up to his mother and now all his respect seemed to be piecing away. Zara looked at Rhys and could tell he was getting agry. "For your sake's as well as his." Zara replied simply. She saw no need to expand the answer.

Rhys looked at his mother, "For our sake, we could have grown up with both our parents instead of just one." he said, "Don't get me wrong mom, You did a great job, it is just that I have always thought he abandoned us, when in fact it was you abandoning him." he said to her.

"Like I said hys point the finger where you want but what's done is done." Zara told him sharply. "I let you know as much about your father as I could handle but unless you wanted him to trun full villages so we wouldn't get hurt....or unless you wanted yourself and 'Dol to get caught and forced to work for him..then I think I mad the best decision I could."

Rhys looked away abashed, he knew that his outburst had hurt his mother at least a little but he had forgotten what his father had done to get them back, he remembered his father coming back with only one arm after doing something and having difficulty with things for a while before Zara had left him.

Zara turned and walked further into the wreck hurt by her sons. How was she going to get involved again? How could she sort things out and get Matt back?
Dol looked at Rhys, "Let Mum sort this out. It already seems way out of out hands." Adolphe looked to his mother and wondered why for all these years there had been lies. WHy not just tell thhem about it? He sighed quietly.

Rhys looked at his brother, he nodded, "I'm sorry mum." he said as he looked over at his mother, "I didn't mean to take it out on you, I just feel so useless." he said to her as he looked back at his brother

Dol had walked over with Rhys quietly. Zara wouldn't look at them. "I have tried to do what is best for all of you over the years." she said. "The only way you can help now is to give yourself to him, but if you do that all the years we've spent building uup our lives is a waste." Zara told them. "You leave this to me, I don't want you two to get involved unless you have to. And that will be on my say so."

Dol spoke up, "Yeah, he's our father and after all he went looking for us. Why shouldn't we go after him? We are old enough."
Zara looked at them and once again had that darker aura around her. "You boys have no idea what it's like." she hissed. "Your father and I made sure that yo would be taken by him and I am warning you know if you get caught up in all his work there is no way out."

"Mum, we just want to help, if We need to do something we need to do it." he said to his mother as he looked over at his brother. "Besides there was a way out for you and dad." he said. He knew what the way out involved but didn't care if it meant having a whole family.

"You got involved and came out of it." Dol pointed out.
Zara groaned looking at her boys, "If there was anything I would have told you. But your father would have wanted you safe and to just stay at school." she explained. "No Dol, we are not out of it. He's back and if we were free Matt wouldn't have disappeared. " Zara looked at Rhys. "And you'd have preferred the way out?"

Rhys grimaced as he looked at his mother, "No, I would of proffered a different way out." he said to his mother, he looked at his brother. "I don't think either of us would have proffered what had happened." he said.

Zara sighed softly and spoke gently, "You don't know what happens there, and I want it to stay that way. it's hard enough with Matt gone I couldn't cope if you two went as well." Zara reached up and kissed their cheeks. "You leave this to me and I promise your Dad will be back soon. Please. If I find there is a way for you two to help I will tell you."

Rhys looked at his mom, "Okay" he said to his mom, "I will wait to help until you need us." he said to her, "But please don't make us have to go looking for you" he said.
