James Potter was sittting in his office going over some approval papers for the Animagi class. He had an appointment with Remus and Izabelle Lupin about their son Zach's recent fight with fellow werewolf, Ben Harper.

Remus was upset. He was already a the school and izzy was some where else... probably shopping or something. He knocked on the door then opened it. He said calmly,"SO, James what are you going to do about this Ben/Zach issue?" He looked at James. HE wanted fairness about this.

James looked up and saw Remus enter his office looking angry.
"The boys will be punished most severely."James said as he stood up to greet his friend.
"Both boys are to blame, I have been told by the ghosts that Mister Harper was walking and he bumped into your son. They began to argue that escalated into a fight. A good one too, I'm told. They both being werewolves that fought and Mister Harper won."
"They both will be have detentions for 3 months and both are banned from Hogsmeade and from playing Quidditch for the year.... Does that please you?"He asked looking at his old friend hoping he would see sense.

IzabellA was in her office at Beauxbatons going over something when she received a letter from Hermione about Zach. She then received a letter from James. She told her second in command headmistress that she would be away and apparated to Hogwarts. She walked to the entrance to James' office and walked up the stairs. She walked in the door a minute or two behind Remus. She was in her Beauxbatons robes still. She looked at Remus and then to James. "Whats this about a fight between my son and another student?"she asked as anger flashed in her eyes.

James took a deep breath and he explained what happened. He walked and took a seat on the corner of his desk.
"There you have it, both boys will be punished."James said looking at The Lupins. "Trust me, my old friends. I have this under control."

Remus said,"Zach doesn't deserve three months! I have my informants and according to them Zach barely laid a scratch on Harper. give him 2 months! thats it. WIth the Hogsmeade and Quidditch gone for the rest of the year of course.

"Then I'd be giving the school a message, you start a fight with the children of one of my friends and they'll get a lesser punishment."James brought up. "The reason why Harper doesn't have a scratch on him is because he can heal his wounds, so any damage that Zach done to him has by now already be tended to, please believe me when I say how sorry I am that this happened. Equal punishment for both of them or you could come up with a better punishment."

Izabella looked at James then at Remus. "What the.....just because he doesn't have a scratch on him that doesn't mean that Zach put one on him. I know he can heal but its not right to give Zach the same punishment."she said.

Remus said,"THATS UNFAIR!" HE didn't care who was with him. He said,"James, you know it is! Zach I know for sure only threw on kick and that didn't even hit! He didn't even hurt Ben! You are not treating him special by giving him less you are being fair! What the heck did Harper treat you to make him so innocent!?" Remus looked at James with his eyes full of anger.

"As the Headmaster, its either this or I expell them both."James said. "Those are my options, please understand that I am choosing the lesser of two evils."
Above the portraits were arguing the punishments Phineas Nigellus Black was shouting for expulsion while Armando Dippet was praising James by saying "Equal punishments", Dilys Derwent "There should have never been half-breeds in the school in the first place", Professor Everard, and Dexter Fortescue were silent watching the discussion.

Remus turned to Dilys and said,"you better watch your mouth" He was was pretty much close to going off the edge of being angry. He looked back at him. He said,"Fine but any class they have separate the time periods now. Another fight between them an you won't have the option of expulsion of Ben Harper" He knew his wife. Another fight and his wife would tear Ben apart.

Izabella looked at James as more anger flashed in her eyes. "THATS NOT FAIR!"she said. A few years earlier she had a vision of her son getting in a fight with a boy from America. This was it. She knew what Zach had done. She knew he had provoked but Harper had no right to leave her son for dead. "He shouldn't have practically left him for dead. If Hermione hadn't showed up....."she said. She knew that part because Hermione mentioned it in her letter.

Izabella looked at him. Izabella had a very bad anger problem and many could tell why. "I had a vision. He was gonna leave him for dead but releized that if people found out he had down that to Zach he would go to Azkaban for murder. He wanted everyone to think he was good but in reaility hes a chicken."she told James.
