James had just got the news about Evie and he broke down at the sight of her body, he was confined to his office thinking about how Lily is going to react when she found out. He had a bottle of firewhiskey on his desk and he felt worsr all he could see was Evie's body.

Sirius had came up to the school to visit James.he had heard what happened through the grapevine.... well he heard it from Calli who heard about it. he got pass the gargoyle and knocked on the office door.

Severus walked up the stairs to James' office. Seren was with Rydell and Evie in the hospital wing. The darned connection. They would be in there until they all three healed. Severus knew that James would probably try to kill him for this but he had to see how he was doing. He looked up and saw Sirius. "Black."he said.

James was on the floor looking at the ceiling with tears running down his cheeks with the firewhiskey bottle on the floor beside his face. He heard someone at his door, he called out.
"Enter,"
He remained on the ground as he waited for his visitors to enter.

Sirius looked at Severus and gave him a curt nod and said "Snivellus" then he went in the room to see James on the floor, crying. he could understand why James was upset. i mean Evie was severely hurt,if not dead. he went over to comfort him. "hey James" he said softly.

Severus shook his head at Sirius and walked in behind him and saw James. He knew why. "James you need to stop beating yourself up. Shes not dead."Severus told him.

"Black, Padfoot, my friend."James said drunk at Sirius, he then saw Snape and made a mean face. "Snape, always angry, you need to lighten up mate."
He took the bottle and drank the rest of the bottle.
"My daughter got hurt because I allowed dark creatures into our school."

Sirius thought it was typical that James was drunk.then he looked at Snape and said "She's not dead?" then he said "james.... i know you are upset that your daughter is hurt.... but you being drunk isn't going to help matters"

Snape shook his head. "No because if she was my daughter and Rydell would be dead as well. Thats how I know Evie isn't dead."he told Sirius. "I just found out,Potter."he said.

Severus looked at him. "BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW! If I had known I would have told you. She didn't tell me. As far as I know she didn't tell her mother either."he told him.

"Really?"James asked he looked at Snape and he pushed Snape. "Would have really?!"
He then punched Snape in the face, he had never been so angry at anyone in his entire life.
