Matt was working in the forge, He had finally managed to put the finishing touches on the new weapon for the ministry, it was designed so that the wild dragons that were beginning to overcrowd and now the ministry was having difficulties hiding them. Matt had been told to design a weapon that could kill and not leave any trace of its use. He had succeeded and now he wanted to test it for the Minister herself.
He Had placed the weapon out of harms way as he descended on his forge, beginning to work on his past time, the creation of unique swords, each one different from the last and each one created for a different person in his life.

Lily apparted to one of the workers houses. A Matt Edgmon. Given the job of a Magical Weapons Designer. they were rare in the Ministry for reason such as, they were more likely to be raided if they were caught designing weaponary. She knocked on the door and waited patiently.

Matt was glad that he had set a spell that would allow him to hear the knocks out in his forge over the clanging of the hammer. He moved away from the forge and into his home, The furniture was still covered in the protective sheets that kept moths and other things away. He opened the front door and saw that it was the minister. He bowed "Welcome Minister" he said to her as he looked at her, "I finished the weapon as I was ordered to" he said to her.

Lily watched as the door opened. "Please. Don't bow." Lily said blushing slightly. She was still getting used to think. "Thank you. I'm glad you were able to do it on short notice." Lily really did appreciate all the work that was done by the workers.

"I have been developing weapons for years." he said to her, "Ever since I lost my arm." he said to her as he motioned for her to follow him, "I had this one almost finished when I was told to make it." he said to her as he led her outside to his "workshop" the forge was still lit up, the sword he had left in the pit was White hot, he quickly moved and took it out, he dunked it into the salt water barrel he had there. it hissed and spit as the water boiled instantly cooling the water. "That is not the weapon, that is just a project." he said to her. "The weapon is over here." he said to her. motioning to a small table with a rod shaped device.

Lily walked through with him. "So you do alot of his type of work then." Lily was curious about his arm but did not dare ask in case she offended him. As they got to his workshop Lily watched the sword spitting and hissing. "Oh, just a project. Ok?" Lily felt a little uncofortable but then again who wouldn't. Did this man not have other things to do than working on weapons? She looked at what was the actual piece of work.

"With this I am willing to bet that you could level a city in one blow." he said to her, "Which is why I am only going to make the one." he said to her, Picking up the rod he showed it to her, it was entirely made of Gold and had the shape of a dragon carved into it. "I would not recomend giving this to anyone but your top Auror." he said. He turned it in his hand, "Here on the bottom is a lever that needs to be depressed to activate it." he said pointing to it, "And here is what a low level of power through it does." he said as he turned to face a tree that had grown in his absence. He depressed the lever and a beam of what looked like red lightning arced out and struck the tree disintegrating it instantly. "That is the lowest setting." he said to her as he turned back to face her, he turned it in his hand so that the dangerous end pointed at him.

Lily's eyes widened slightly as he mentioned leveling a city. "Yeah, I think the one should suffice in the Ministry." Lily paid attention as Matt explained the device. Lily looked towards the tree and nodded, numbly. "That's...interesting." She really had no words. She careflly took the rod from him. "Thank you for going through the trouble of making this."

Matt looked at her, "If you need others, I can make them, it doesn't take me very long to perfect a weapon and move onto the next" he said to her, "And each weapon is unique in it's craft." he added. he looked at her and sniffed the air, he was glad at times that he was a werewolf. "By the way" he said as he turned back to the forge, "You shouldn't be scared of me. I would never harm a woman." he said to her, "Unless she works for Him" he said loudly. looking over his shoulder to see if there was a reaction

Lily nodded. "Ok. If anything else is needed I will owl. Do you do repairs as well?" Lily asked. Her Auror department could be clumbsy at times. She watched as he turned back to his forge. Lily wnet to leave but then turned to look at hi. SHe blushed slightly. "Well with Him behing not heard from in 15 years I don't think we have all that much to worry about."

Matt looked at her, "I do repairs" he said to her, "But I have to tell you this, He is coming back" e said, "There is not a chance in the world that he won't be" he said to her, "I know. He did this to me" he said to her using his hand to point to the stump, "I knew you were curious when you first saw it." he said to her, "He disappeared once but he won't be gone forever." he said, "He will be back, and he will be back with a vengeance." he said.

Lily listened. She knew something was coming back this way. The Department of Mystery had had three Darker prophecies fulfilled and it was only a matter of time. But the evidence was still not solid enough to warn people. "Thank you for your input." Lily said. "I must get back to the Ministry. Thank you."

Matt looked at her and sighed, No one believed him lately. Even being in the same school with the minister of magic and the same house she didn't know him or even trust him. "I am sorry for my outburst." he said to her, "I have just had a rough day" he said to her,

"No it's understandable. Things happen." Lily said. "Trust me I know how rough days can get." Things had not been at their best lately.
