Danielle was in her animagus, fox, form jogging through the streets of London. Being careful not to be seen by anyone she made her way to where the Ministry was sending her. She was to check up on the man that they just took of the Wanted List so to speak. She hated to do these things, they were never exhilerating to her, and it was a drag.

She soon found herself at Apartment 169. Danielle formed back into her human state and had her wand at the ready as she began to walk around the small hallway cautiously.

Gabriel laid on his bed, tired and bushed. His snore was very light, in his hand was a small picture. The bed was made, and he was fully clothed. In fact, the apartment was rather bland. A single chair and a small TV. His room held one bed and a dresser. Blood was stained on the floor, old blood, but his.

Danielle found nothing out of the ordinary on the outside, but everything was run down. She didn't even bother to knock at all, instead she twisted the knob and allowed herself entrance.

It was rather dark but Danielle could see everything rather clearly. There was a television and a chair, on the floor there was some blood but what caught her eye was the man lying on the bed.

She watched him and took in how handsome he looked...this was once a killer? She was so engrossed that when he whispered her name it made her jump a little. What did he say? She asked herself. Danielle walked over to the television set and turned it on making sure that the volume was cranked all the way up, perhaps the noise would wake him and she could get some answers.

Gabriel groaned and moaned, hearing the TV, but his state of mind reverted back to when Taylor lived with him. "Taylor!!! shut that damned thing off!!" He growled. He turned back on his side and covered his head with his pillow.

Chris heard Gabriel and shook his head. He walked out of his room and into the living room and saw the t.v. on. He hadn't turned it on. He sighed lightly and walked over shut it off. He looked up seeing a female standing there. "Who the hell are you and what the hell are you doing here?"Chris said to her.

Gabriel's eyes shot open as he heard Chris talking to someone. He shot up out of bed and rushed to the preteen and grabbed him roughly by the collar and pulled him back, not minding to be rough with the young pup. "What the fu-" He stopped dead in his tracks....Before him was Dani..the woman he loved..and cherished but had forgotten.

Chris felt himself being pulled back and looked at Gabriel. He was confused why he had stopped. From everything his father and mother had told him about his cousin he had never stopped dead in his tracks and never would. "What? Who is this? You want me to get rid of her?"he asked looking at Gabriel. Maybe he shouldn't have spoken.

Danielle looked from Gabriel to the younger male in the room. She was shocked and couldn't seem to find anything to say. She had never stopped thinking about Gabriel, and everytime she did it pained her tremendously. I hate the Ministry. She thought to herself after a moment knowing that they knew it was him all along.

"Danielle Cormier." She answered the younger man's questions but still remained focused on Gabriel. "And you don't have to get rid of me...I was just leaving."

With that she turned to walk for the door.

Gabriel turned back to Chris and backhanded him. "No! Get back in your room!' He snarled to him. He turned to see her leaving."No wait Dani.." He reached for her and grabbed her arm. He pulled her to him and held her there, smacking the wand from her hand for a precaution. "What are....How?...Dani..." He couldn't find his words, they had left him horribly. He looked at her, seeing that she ha become so...breathtaking. That was the right word. He then pulled her in an embrace. "I have never stopped dreaming of you..." He whispered.

Chris heard the women then felt Gabriel back hand him. He hated when he did that. "Yes, master."Chris said and walked back to his room. He cracked it enough to see his cousin embrace the women. His eyes grew wide and he closed the door quietly behind him and leaned against it. He had never seen him or was told that he had ever done that to a women.

Danielle felt Gabriel grab her and before she could do a thing her wand was halfway across the room. She looked up at him and her expression faltered, this time to a hurt look. "Gabriel...I..." She was lost also and she had to fight back the tears already.

Gabriel held her there in his arms. He didn't want to let go. He didn't care that his eyes were failing him, he let the small tears leave the heartless wolf. "You know you were always the keeper of my soul Dani.." He whispered.

Danielle finally broke down, silent tears falling from her eyes. She never thought that she would see him again, but she could never stop thinking about him either. "I'm sorry, Gabriel." She whispered back.

Gabriel pulled her back, too look at her face. He wipped the tears away with his thumb. "No Dani..I'm sorry..Sorry for leaving you..." He didn't stop himself as he leaned in and kissed her tenderly.

Danielle melted right into the kiss. She shook her head at his last comment and said, "But I still shouldn't have ran off to America either."
