Birgitte was sitting at a small table on the second floor of Flourish and Blotts rereading a letter she had received from Ebony, It didn't look like Ebony's handwriting so it had thrown Birgitte off. She kept rereading it trying to decide whether or not to go visit her sister in law.

Harper who had gotten the letter to meet up with Bridgette was surprised when he was allowed to leave the campus but not to tell anyone.
"Hey Boss, long time."He greeted as he took a seat.

Birgitte glanced up and saw that it was Harper sitting across from her, "Apparently, according to my sister in law. My brother isn't dead." she said pushing the letter over to harper so he could read it. Dear Birgitte,
You need to come by and visit soon, Newt misses you something fierce and I have a surprise here. I found a man who looked a lot like Cain and when I started asking him questions he was able to answer them without any idea how he knew. In the end it turned out to be Cain, he had apparently been put under some sort of Memory charm that kept those memories locked away and implanted new ones it their place.

"Who is your sister in law?"Harper asked looking at Bridgette. He was confused by her mission but didn't want to be left out on the action.
