James was sitting at the bar at Diagon Alley's Leaky Cauldren Pub, he had a shot of firewhiskey infront of him. He had just seen his estranged daughter Ines at Hogwarts, he knew that he was going to run into her but he was very surprised at seeing her. He was sad because he missed out at seeing her grow up.

Alyson walked into the Leaky Cauldron. She had been called in that Saturday for work and had just gotten off at what she thought was a late time. She figured that Ines was alright by herself as she walked over to the bar and took a seat there. She looked over at the barman."A butterbeer please."She told him and she took out her folder from her bag as she began to write numbers and times for her own use on a paper inside. She figured that she worked too much but she also thought that it was worth it in the long run,especially when your new job pays more than your old job did.

James looked over and saw Alyson at the bar, he was surprised at seeing her like this. He hadn't seen her in person since graduation other times he had seen her at sporting events. He called over to Tom the barman and instructed him to give Alyson a butterbeer.

Alyson spared a moment to glance over and jumped when she saw James as she dropped records out of her folder."Snap."She said as she then got down and began to pick them up."It's what I get for taking work home. Never had these problems when I was on the England Team."She murmured as she began to put then on the stool she had been sitting at.

James took this as an opportunity to go and talk to her, downing the rest of his firewhiskey. He walked over to her and held up her papers and began to skim through them.
"And I thought you going out for Beater was a bead idea, you were a superb Chaser, I'll give you that."He teased looking at Alyson, she looked different but the youthfulness was in her face.
"Hey, B, its been a long time."

Alyson swung at his shin as she caught it with a punch. She gathered the rest of her papers as she stood up and took the papers from him."Those are case files."She said as she placed them in the folder.She then put her hands on her hips and looked at James closely."You've changed as well Potter. Haven't seen you in years. How've you been?"She told him.

"Good, had two kids became the Headmaster of the place that tried for years to try and conform me into a model citizen of society."James said lightly as he smiled taking a seat beside Alyson.
"Ines, tells me you loved the flowers that I sent you after your accident."

Lily was due to sort some things out in Diagon Alley. She thought rather than being stuck in the office she'd come out to the Leaky to do the paperwork. As Lily walked in she felt some people strae. They were still getting used to the way she did things. Her eyes searched for an empty spot and found one with James...and Alyson. Lily smiled and walked over. "Hey guys." she greeted them.

"Hey Lil."James said as he stood up and greeted Lily by kissing her cheek. He would thought that his wife seeing him having a drink with his ex who happened to be the mother of his first child would make him very uncomfortable. He knew that Lily trusted and would not break it for anything.
"I bumped into Alyson while I was having a drink, care to join us?"

She trusted James and Aly. They had all grown up. "Yes please. Though I can't really stay long." She turned to Aly. "I saw the accident. Everything ok now?" she asked.

James was please to see Lily not crossed at him, he saw her take a seat and he looked at Alyson wondering what her answer was going to be.

Alyson took a seat there as she was placing the files in the folder."Hello Lily."She said to her."Yes I did and yeah,I'm doing okay."She told them with a nod as she sorted through some papers."I think it hurt more getting smashed by that bludger than it ever did. But it isn't too bad to live with at all. So how're you doing Lily? I suppose you're quite busy?"

James saw how he wasn't directly addressed by Alyson but knew that she was probably still mad at him, not that she didn't have reason but he thought after about 15 years she would have forgiven him. He watched as Lily and Alyson talking.

"No, seeing as Ines is a special case with her father being Headmaster, no unless you want to get yelled at by the portraits?"James said offhandedly while taking a drink. "I'm surprised you enrolled Ines to Hogwarts anyway, I thought you would be send her to Beauxbatons."
