Harper was walking down the hall, he was thinking of how to put together a song in his head. He had been writing it for a while, it was about how he felt when he went to the prettiest girl in the school. He had seen a couple girls eyeing him but he wasn't checking for them. He liked Bella but she seemed like more of a buddy then anything.
He was listening to some jazz on his ipod, he was thinking of a certain girl but he didn't think that he had a chance, he would never admit it out loud because he had a reputation for being a tough guy.
"We'll never know."He said.

Evangeline wandered down the corridor, out of school robes, and a grin on her face. Today dressed in a black vest and a pair of baggy jeans, she was of to go and meet Evan on the grounds for a bit of a picnic. As she walked along, her head in the clouds, a familiar voice made her change route. Only around the corner. "hey Harper," she grinned. "Everything alright? Talking to yourself again, I see." Evangeline laughed heartily.

Harper looked up and saw Evie in a happy moos, he took off his earplugs and greeted her with a friendly smile.
"I don't talk to myself."He said sniffing her new scent that he took in as a hybrid. "I'm fine just working on a project in my head."
He was pleased to know that Evie had gotten over her crush on him and moved on. He was not expecting to see her for a while. It was ironic because now they had something in common and she stopped liking him. He really saw her as a little buddy.

"yes you do." she told him. "But if you answer yourself then I know you're going insane." she teased. "What type of project are you working on?" Things didn't seem so stressful now she had gotten over him. Her father had been right, as usual.

Harper rolled his eyes at the comment thinking that her childish nature, he knew that she was trying to get under his skin and he wasn't going for it.
"My project is none of your business as is where are you going."He said. "How's the status of being a 'half-breed' treating? I mean you're of three in existance.... Be happy."

"Yeah well I'm more open about things than you are." Evangeline explained. "I'm off to meet Evan." she told him with no shame. Recently she didn't care who kew about them since things were looking up. "Not a lot of students know about it. I know there are a fair few that do...but nothings really changed."

"And you'll find that I don't care,"Harper said simply and rather coldly. He leaned on the wall and watched the little girl. He didn't like when he was being baited esspecially by one who couldn't do it right.
"Well, that's why you're predictable, you let everyone into your head."Harper explained. "And why I'm such a mystery because no one knows what I'm going to do next."

Evie's smile dropped at Harper's cold tone. "No, that's why your an ass." she told him quietly shaking her head as she made her way down the hall again, hurt. She didn't even feel like meeting Evan now. She wanted to talk to James....'He's probably busy.'

Harper knowing that he had ruined Evie's day and he found out that he was... happy at this. He put his earplugs back in his ears and had a smile on his face.

Evangeline turned her sadness to anger, and turned back around marching over to Banjamius. She looked at the smile on his face and balled her fist before seeing red, and swinging for him. "I hate you!"

Harper seeing that she was really fast just barely avoided it, he looked at her.
"Temper, temper and people say I need to get mine under control."Harper said. "You'd think you'd turn."

Evie could feel it in her, something deep that was tearing its way upwards to make itself known. To help he out in this fight. She knew exactly what it was and refused to let it get that far. "I'm different." she told him. "I hate you Benjamius Harper, with every part of my being!"
